Sorel Skort

The Sorel Skort was created to prioritize movement through any activity with comfort and ease without sacrificing whimsy or expression.  

Designed using the Temple Biker shorts pattern underneath.

Pattern Updated August 2026:

Updates to the shorts include added ease in the hips and booty for perfect compression without stress on the seams. Skirt shape changed to optimize whimsy and flowy vibes. Narrower waistband allows the skirt to gently drape over the belly and booty, offering a more flattering shape and flow while still maintaining the same high waist. Sleek pocket design with plenty of room for all the goodies is now included on all skorts unless requested otherwise.

Double layered leg bands keep the shorts in place without constricting the thigh. These flatter the thigh without the worry of them riding up.

Personal Note: Ladies, do not fret the banded hem; it really does help the shorts stay down WITHOUT creating an unflattering shape at the thigh. The band is more stretchy and functional than a standard coverstitch hem. Once you go band, you’ll never go back!

5.5” inseam provides enough length to combat the notorious chub rub, while creating a fun and flattering shape for different bodies and heights.

Fabric:

Hemp Jersey- will be made with the thicker 300GSM for the shorts and waistband

Bamboo Jersey- lighterweight fabric will be used for shorts, wasitband, and skirt portion (shorts may be slightly sheer when bending over, but skirt majorly covers the back). This fabric will also not offer the same compression and support as the hemp
